  1. I’ve been trying to decide whether I like the new Klout or not. Generally it seems like everyone that likes the new updates of Klout decides they like the newer updates if they get an increase in their score, hah! This time around it seems like it might have a more well-rounded approach to generating an engagement analysis of that user.

I also really like the article that you referred that talks about focusing more on CTR of a website and one of those ways to get it done is a metatag. Great wrap up.

    • Hi Joel,

I guess there will be some who care about Klout and some who still won’t put much emphasis on its score!
Glad you enjoyed the Weekend Wrap. Thanks for your comment.

  2. Hey Midge,

It will definitely be interesting to see what the next Penguin refresh brings. It seems like it’s been pretty quiet for a while now, so I have a feeling Google is working on something big again. Maybe it will even be a significant change that warrants a new animal. Still waiting for the “Killer Whale” update. Another black and white animal Google will need to take advantage of eventually.

    • Thanks for stopping by Derek. I’m also wondering what the next ‘animal’ will be as I’m sure a lot of others are!
Like your sense of humour – stay tuned!

      All the best

    • ha ha ha, Killer Whale, well said. I think Google should use it.
It’ll be another pain in the ass for sure if the next update come this year. Hope that Google will bring some good news for us.

      • Hi Rowan,

I think Google should use a skunk – and call it the stinky update!!
We all wait with bated breath and pegs on our noses!
        Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Hi Midge,

Thanks for sharing the links – Provides me and the other readers with a great source of reading material and information. Especially on niche and viable topics of SEO.

    • Hi Anton,

Happy to hear you are enjoying all this great information! I find it’s one of the best ways to learn what’s going on in the world of SEO.
      Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Google’s goal isn’t to run wild with algorithm updates and penalize every site until there are only 10 decent sites left. Google just wants to make the web a better place, and it does that by rewarding people who do things right.

    • Hi Jhon,

Yes, that what we like to think – although sometimes the good guys sometimes get caught in the crossfire.
No matter what, Google is God…
